Environmental Robots

An environmental robot goes where a truck should stay off the ground. The feature is the track base and the camera mast. It rolls a bank, a field edge, or a solar row and brings pictures back to the people who decide what to repair.

Pick the ground

Grass, mud, and a slope need tracks. Pavement does not. The mast has to clear the grass so the camera sees the waterline, the fence, or the panel, not the weeds in front of the lens.

Bring data home

The robot records the pass. A person reviews it. The machine does not close a valve or apply a treatment on its own in this setup. Its work is to repeat the route and show what changed since the last visit.

Charge it, clear the tracks, and check the mast before the next route. A small rover like the one in the photo keeps crews off soft ground while the inspection still happens on a schedule.
